		<description>Vivian: The best thing for you to do is to go to the relevant Immigration office and get the checklist, which is slightly different depending on which office you go to (you'll need to go to the one in the state or territory that's on your IC). I could tell you what you need here, but the list changes quite frequently, and I don't want to give you the wrong information. By your name I'm assuming you're not Malay (correct me if I'm wrong), which means you'll have fewer documents to prepare than we did. So you're halfway there already, haha. There's still quite a bit of paperwork though. Your husband will probably get a six-month visa the first time, after which he'll get a year; after that, hopefully, he'll get two years. After he's been here a few years he should be able to apply for PR, that is as long as the government sticks to the current plan.</description>
