When “Not bad” just won’t do

This is what happens when you have a BBC foreign correspondent on your Facebook friends list:

Me: Hey, how’s it going?

Friend: Hi mate…I’m in Beirut to interview a drug lord. But there’s a delay. He’s on the run after his face was plastered all over the papers.

Me: Well, that’s got to be the most interesting reply to ‘How’s it going?’ that I’ve heard in a while.
