This sign wouldn’t turn my head in Canada, but it sure did just that when I was driving through Bangsar. It’s kind of like running into a cousin or an old friend far away from home. It’s not that there’s anything really special about pizza from Canada. But it’s Canada, ya know? Leen and I couldn’t resist going there for supper. Not as good as some of the other pizza places back home, but not bad.
Here’s their website, if anyone’s interested.

There are quite a few branches here in Singapore, and unfortunately, it sucks big time. Bland bland bland, I doubt it’s supposed to taste like that (I think they got complacent because there really aren’t that many halal pizza joints here in Singapore). I hope it tastes better in KL.
Hmmm…well, it wasn’t too bad. Like I said, it wasn’t as good as most of the places I like back home, but it wasn’t too bad. Mind you, we’ve only tried one of their menu items (their ‘meat lovers’ pizza).
I make the best Canadian pizza ever!
It’s called the “Baby Seal Supreme with extra cheese and whale blubber.”
Hmmm…I think I’ll pass.
Actually, as far as I know there IS a distinctly Canadian pizza. The special ingredient is bacon. Of course, over here that’s turkey bacon, but it’s all good.
Hi honey;
I still think the best pizza is Napoli’s in Sydney. I haven’t tasted any better than his so far. I wish I could send you one buddy.
love ya, MOM
ohhh…i am going to rub it in now….frank loves the donair stuff, i am not a big fan, but i have finally love gravy on my fries. can i also say the fish and chips here are AWESOME! and i dont even like fish!
When I think “pizza” I don’t think “Canada” cuz I’m from the Pizza Capitol :)
It would not beat Napoli in Sydney, or anything on Pizza Corner…..LOL. Take it from an expert!!!!!
Aida: I love donair too, but I’m not crazy about the sauce. Leen loves it though. She can even make donair sauce, and it isn’t too bad.
MJ: Well, when I think of pizza, I don’t think about Chicago. Hah! Unless, of course, you’re referring to some other pizza capitol…
Ron: Of course, you and Mom are right: there’s nothing like Napoli! And the stuff on Pizza Corner, of course….oh, I need a trip home. Soon.
I’m with you. I live in Singapore now and Canadian Pizza is nothing like Canadian Pizza. Everything is far too bland…meat, cheese, spices and so on.
Canadian Pizza is just slightly better than Pizza Hut.
Sarpinos in Singapore is from Canada, but alas it’s Halal. That notwithstanding (Turkey Bacon tastes like shit), it’s quite good - the best delivery pizza I’ve found in Singapore.
Still looking for one with pork though…
Canadian Pizza is much more better in taste and value down here in malaysia , ive tried in their subang outlet and the service and food was fantastic,.Guys ill be back.
