[...] I think that because I already lost some weight and there’s nothing much to do here plus the weather is getting colder…we’re a little bit too early with our plan. Last Saturday I went and got a home pregnancy test thingy and found out that I’m pregnant! The rest of the story you can read it here. At first, both of us still couldn’t believe that it’s true. So after 2 tests and a visit to a doctor (where we did another test), now it’s confirmed! It’s still too early to get too excited but at least we know that we can do it! Not that we really planned on it in the first place, but a lot of my friends said that it usually happens when you don’t plan it..and now I believe it. [...]
Lisa: That’s right….although I’m thinking it’s more like the power of Chinese food! All that beef and broccoli seems to have been good for something. ;)
Lesley: Haha…I love that comment. However, we’re planning to be back in Malaysia by the time any delivery takes place. God willing!
Yan: Yay! Thanks!
Dwayne: Thanks! Love the pic at the top of your blog, by the way.
Mom: We’re pretty excited too, although we’re being very cautiously excited. It’s still early days, eh? We’re going to see a doctor today. Two home tests have pretty much confirmed it for us, now I want to make sure everything is OK. :)
Johnsons: Heh…there’s a queue already! But it’s OK, we’ll let Azam jump to the front for now. ;)
WELL THEN!!! Bring a little cape breton over seas and see what happens….CONGRATS! One piece of advice Leen - Never underestimate the power of a hot bath! And Jordan - Never underestimate the power of a pregnant woman! Love you both!!!! Write me an email update - I’m 37 days in hospital bored out of my mind I would love to hear from you!
Cheers!

Zylia: Yup…never a dull moment in MACVAYSIA. Well, there are plenty, but I try to pretend they’re interesting too, otherwise how boring would that be? Er….I’m confusing myself here…
Jodee: You didn’t tell me you had a blog! You didn’t tell me you had TWO blogs! Just be careful: last time I put a pic of you in my blog, several of my male Malaysian readers drooled all over the place and almost casued an international incident. Don’t make me do it again! Anyway, I’ll be sure to check up on your writings, and I’ll be even more sure to send e-mail updates!

NTF: Thanks!
Jodee: Keep blogging!
Yeah, I remember those days, both of us all screwed up. It wasn’t chemo, just radiotherapy, but it still sucked!
It was like we were having a ‘who looks shittier’ contest. I still don’t know who won. Thanks to a new drug I helped test, I didn’t throw up even once. But I sure felt like it, and I felt tired as hell. As I recall, you weren’t feeling too hot either. Hurry up and get your butt out of the hospital, eh? Do some travelling, like to, oh I don’t know, somewhere in Asia…
Tony & Hilary & Family: Yes, looks like I did indeed have it in me…and in her (which is usually how this whole pregnancy thing works, eh?).
Thanks for the congratulations, and especially for the prayers. We’ll keep you posted!
